Welcome, clean, attractive cafe in strange though quite grand Orton village. Decent Farrar's coffee at a fair price. Next time I'll having something to eat!

Found this place whilst on a little drive out in the car. Great service. Great cake. Highly recommended.

Only giving 1 star as we couldn’t visit this morning for breakfast as they don’t allow dogs . In a country side location it’s absolutely crazy to turn away people with dogs
The cafe is big enough to accommodate well behaved dogs
As a cafe owner myself, ( dog friendly) I know I would lose so much of my business
Owners re think your business model

Very welcoming and friendly. Busy little cafe but staff able to give individual attention. Ample parking space, very accessible.
Good menu with vegetarian options and were happy to modify to suite individual taste.

This is a great cafe. Freshly cooked food and plenty of it!
Friendly staff and the red squirrels outside to keep everyone amused. Highly recommended

A wee gem of a place. Avoid the services and take the 5 minute detour. You won't be disappointed . Lovely lunch and home baking.

Not the friendliest cafe I have been too. Gave it a second chance has we had a similar experience last year. Nice outside sitting area on a sunny day which is great for cyclists so you can keep an eye on your bike. Very limited menu outside and in paper cups and cartons. Seems odd that items such as a full range of sandwiches are not available outside.

Lovely cafe. Lots of homemade produce. So much choice, definitely something for everyone on the menu and specials board. Staff are always extremely friendly. There's a nice atmosphere, some people are obviously locals and then you get the holiday makers like ourselves. Popular with walkers and motorcyclist's. The cakes were to die for...try the ginger and pecan, you won't be disappointed 😋

Fabulous food. Fantastic service from very pleasant staff. We stopped off for second breakfast on day four of our Coast to Coast walking trip. Best meal so far! A gem of a place. Recharge morale and recharge our phones and battery packs!
