Kennedy’s chocolates never disappoint. They make the perfect present and taste absolutely divine.
I choose my own depending on who they’re for and they arrive very swiftly and perfectly wrapped.

Fab choice of chocolates, well worth a visit if you're in the area. Coffee, hot chocolate and service was also very good.

i have used Kennedy's for a few years now the, the wife adores the chocolates, so do i lol. last year i messed up my order and forgot to have my Christmas chocolates delivered to a cottage in Scotland i had rented, i rang in a fluff to see if they could help, nothing was to much trouble, they changed to another courier and by luck they were delivered Christmas eve, outstanding customer service and the chocolates are divine, just ordered a large box today for Christmas. I can’t speak more highly of this company, nothing was too much trouble for David Kennedy, who went out of his way to help with my order in December, which must be an incredibly busy time!
The chocolates are amazing too!

Great to see that the cafe has now reopened when I visited on Tuesday.
Excellent choices once more including my absolute favourite- Savoury cream Tea.
Super staff & lovely warm surroundings after a cold cycle ride through the Howgills.
Note only open weekdays 10 - 4

Brilliant little cafe, chocolate making business and shop.
In a small village this looks like a brilliant venture, I imagine it is popular both for tourists and locals.
Well worth a visit.
You can see the staff making chocolates through a small viewing window behind the shop counter.
The chocolates on the counter looked amazing - I don't know how anyone manages to choose which to have!
I bought two bars of chocolate, one was a pretty layered bar of orange flavour, white and milk chocolate, the other was a hazelnut and milk chocolate bar. They had plenty to choose from.
There were novelty chocolate lollypops and shapes too.
Made in their own factory- NOT mass produced chocolate that you can buy almost anywhere.
Sadly no dogs are allowed inside but there were a couple of tables outside if it's nice weather.
They have Scoops ice cream suitable for dogs!
Hot drinks available to takeaway.
Ive Hiden people's identities on the photos because i didn't ask permission to show their face online.

When you go for a drive in the countryside, and come across a sign saying chocolate....
We followed the road to Orton, and sure enough we found chocolate.
Orton is a lovely village, and the chocolate shop lived up to all expectations.
Looking forward to our next visit. Incidentally the Chocolate Limes are exquisite.

A small chocolate shop set in the lovely village of Orton. Whether you want an Easter egg or a present there is lots to choose from in the shop. Also a small selection of gifts and cards. They also do take away smoothies and milkshakes. Note the cafe is currently closed. Parking by the side of the shop and on street.

A great place to stop just off the M6. Take a break between junctions 38 & 39. The minor road between the two is almost parallel to the motorway and goes through Orton, home to this delightful chocolatiers, and well worth the slight diversion. The shop sells all manner of chocolates, chocolate gifts, and other local items, whilst the cafe has excellent standards and little extras (once you’ve attracted the staff’s attention. At quiet times they tend to be in the back and you need to make them aware you’re here). Delicious coffee, served in style, with extra hot water to top up the cafetière, making your drink go further. The toasted tea cake I ordered came done to just the right degree of brown, and with jam on the side for if I wanted it. A delightful little extra was a couple of chocolates from the shop gratis on a mini-plate as a tempter to buy more in the shop, but rather welcome, nevertheless. I will be calling again on my next journey along the M6.
